1. Overview
This Refund Policy ("Policy") describes the conditions under which Nunmathi Technologies Pvt Ltd ("Nunmathi", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in Coimbatore, India, will issue refunds for subscriptions and other paid services available through the Nunmathi platform. This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service and forms part of the agreement between you and Nunmathi.
We are committed to being fair and transparent about our refund practices. We understand that circumstances change and that purchasing decisions sometimes need to be revisited. At the same time, we invest significant resources in developing, maintaining, and supporting the Services, and our refund terms are designed to balance customer satisfaction with the sustainable operation of our business.
Please read this Policy carefully before subscribing to any Nunmathi plan. If you have questions about whether a particular purchase is eligible for a refund, contact us at info@nunmathi.com before completing the transaction.
Currency & Taxes: All refunds are processed in the original currency of the transaction. Where applicable, taxes and transaction fees deducted by our payment processor are non-refundable. Exchange-rate fluctuations between the date of purchase and the date of refund are not our responsibility.
2. Monthly Plans
7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee — First-Time Monthly Subscribers
If you are a first-time subscriber to any Nunmathi monthly plan and are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within seven (7) calendar days of your initial subscription date. No questions asked. This guarantee applies once per customer account and is not available on subsequent subscription periods or plan upgrades.
Beyond the 7-day satisfaction guarantee for first-time subscribers, monthly plan payments are generally non-refundable for the current billing period. Specifically:
- Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance at the beginning of each billing cycle.
- If you cancel your monthly subscription after the 7-day window has closed, you will retain access to the Services until the end of the current billing period. No partial refund will be issued for unused days in the current period.
- Renewals are processed automatically. If you did not intend to renew and contact us within forty-eight (48) hours of the renewal charge appearing on your account, we will review your case and, at our sole discretion, may issue a pro-rated refund for any unused portion of the renewed period.
- Downgrades from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan within the same billing cycle will not attract a refund for the price difference; the lower-tier rate will apply from the next billing cycle.
We strongly recommend setting a calendar reminder before your renewal date if you are considering cancelling, to ensure you act in time to avoid being charged for the next period.
3. Annual Plans
Annual plan subscriptions are purchased for a full twelve-month term and are offered at a discounted rate compared to monthly equivalents in recognition of this commitment. The following refund terms apply to annual plans:
- Within 14 days of purchase — If you have not made significant use of the Services (defined as generating fewer than 1,000 API calls or the equivalent in platform usage), you may request a full refund within fourteen (14) calendar days of the initial annual subscription date.
- After 14 days — No refund will be issued for annual plans after the 14-day window has elapsed, except in the circumstances described below.
- Pro-rated refund for service discontinuation — If Nunmathi discontinues a specific product or feature that constitutes the primary reason you subscribed, and no reasonable substitute is offered, we will issue a pro-rated refund for the remaining unused months of your annual term.
- Verified billing errors — If a duplicate charge or billing error has occurred on your account, we will correct it and refund any overcharge in full, regardless of when it is reported, subject to verification.
If you purchased an annual plan and wish to downgrade to a monthly plan within the 14-day refund window, we can refund the annual amount and re-enroll you at the applicable monthly rate. Please contact support to arrange this.
Annual Plan Upgrade Credits
If you upgrade from an annual plan to a higher-tier annual plan mid-term, the remaining value of your current annual plan will be applied as a credit towards the new plan. This credit will be visible in your account billing dashboard.
4. Trial Accounts
Where Nunmathi offers a free trial period, no payment is collected until the trial ends and you are converted to a paid subscription. We strongly encourage all prospective customers to make full use of the trial period to evaluate the Services before committing to a paid plan.
- No refund is applicable to a free trial period since no payment is made during the trial.
- If you forget to cancel before the trial ends and a charge is processed at conversion, please contact us within forty-eight (48) hours of the charge. We will review your case and, if you have not used the Services since conversion, will cancel the subscription and issue a full refund as a goodwill gesture.
- Trial periods are available once per customer. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional trial periods is a violation of our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
- Usage or credits consumed during a trial period cannot be refunded or carried forward to a paid account in monetary form.
5. Enterprise Contracts
Enterprise subscriptions and custom agreements are governed by the specific terms set out in the applicable Order Form, Statement of Work (SOW), or Master Service Agreement (MSA) executed between you and Nunmathi. In the event of any conflict between those documents and this Refund Policy, the enterprise agreement takes precedence.
Where enterprise contracts are silent on refund terms, the following defaults apply:
- Annual enterprise licence fees paid upfront are non-refundable except in the case of verified billing errors or Nunmathi's material breach of the agreement.
- Milestone-based or usage-based enterprise billing follows the billing schedule defined in the SOW. Disputed milestones will be resolved through the dispute resolution mechanism in the MSA.
- Professional services fees for implementation, training, and customisation work are non-refundable once the relevant services have been delivered.
- Unused committed usage credits at the end of an enterprise contract term are non-refundable unless carry-forward terms were expressly agreed in writing.
Enterprise customers with questions about refund eligibility should contact their dedicated Nunmathi Account Manager or email info@nunmathi.com with the subject line "Enterprise Billing Enquiry".
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following items and charges are non-refundable under all circumstances unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement:
- Add-on purchases — one-time add-ons such as additional compute credits, storage expansions, or API rate-limit increases that have been activated and used.
- Setup and onboarding fees — fees charged for platform configuration, data migration, or custom integration work where the work has been commenced.
- Training and certification fees — fees paid for Nunmathi-hosted or -facilitated training programmes, workshops, or professional certifications, once the training has commenced.
- Third-party service fees — charges passed through from third-party providers (e.g., compute infrastructure costs, third-party API usage costs) that Nunmathi has already incurred on your behalf.
- Payments made after a prior refund on the same account — goodwill refunds already granted under a satisfaction guarantee cannot be claimed again on subsequent subscriptions.
- Accounts terminated for AUP violations — accounts terminated for breach of our Acceptable Use Policy are not eligible for any refund of subscription fees paid.
7. Processing Refunds
Once a refund request has been approved, we aim to process it promptly. The time it takes for the refunded amount to appear in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution.
| Payment Method | Processing Time (Nunmathi Side) | Estimated Time to Receive Funds |
|---|---|---|
| Credit / Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay) | 1–3 business days | 5–10 business days |
| UPI / Net Banking | 1–2 business days | 2–5 business days |
| International Wire / SWIFT | 3–5 business days | 7–14 business days |
| PayPal / Stripe | 1–2 business days | 3–7 business days |
| Account Credit (applied to future invoices) | Immediate upon approval | Visible on next invoice |
Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. If the original payment method is no longer valid (e.g., expired card, closed bank account), please contact us and we will arrange an alternative refund method.
You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed on our end. If your refund does not appear within the estimated timeframe, please first check with your bank or payment provider before contacting Nunmathi support.
8. Payment Disputes
We encourage you to contact us directly at info@nunmathi.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card issuer. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly and without the need for a formal dispute.
If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, please be aware of the following:
- Your account will be suspended immediately upon receipt of a chargeback notification while the dispute is investigated.
- If the chargeback is found to be invalid or fraudulent, Nunmathi reserves the right to pursue recovery of the disputed amount plus any chargeback fees imposed on us by our payment processor.
- Chargeback abuse (repeatedly disputing legitimate charges) may result in permanent account termination and may be reported to fraud prevention networks.
- Legitimate billing errors that you discover after payment should be reported to us within sixty (60) days of the charge appearing on your account. We will investigate and correct any verified errors.
We take billing errors seriously and will always work in good faith to resolve genuine disputes fairly and promptly.
9. Cancellation Process
You may cancel your Nunmathi subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund for the current billing period (see Sections 2 and 3 for applicable refund terms).
How to Cancel
- Self-service (recommended) — Log in to your Nunmathi dashboard, navigate to Settings › Billing › Subscription, and click "Cancel Subscription". Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Email — Send a cancellation request to info@nunmathi.com with the subject line "Subscription Cancellation — [Your Account Email]". Include your registered email address and the reason for cancellation. We will confirm the cancellation within two (2) business days.
Effect of Cancellation
- Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period, even after cancellation is confirmed.
- Your data will be retained for thirty (30) days after the subscription ends, after which it will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy. You may export your data at any time before deletion.
- Cancellation does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued prior to the cancellation date.
- You may reactivate your subscription at any time before data deletion to resume access to the Services.
